House Rules

The Short Version: We do not store, see, or share your passwords. Everything happens right here in your browser.

1. Data Collection

Passta is a client-side application. This means the code that generates your password runs entirely on your own device, not on our servers. We do not have a database, and we do not collect, transmit, or store the passwords you generate.

2. Cookies

We serve pasta, not cookies. This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, or third-party advertising trackers. It is designed to be lightweight and private.

3. Local Storage

This application does not use your browser's LocalStorage or SessionStorage. Once you refresh the page or close the tab, the generated passwords are gone forever.

4. External Services

We use Google Fonts to render our typography. Your browser may send basic connection data (such as IP address) to Google's servers to fetch these fonts, subject to Google's privacy policy. We do not use any other external tracking or analytics services.

5. Usage & Liability

While we use a randomization algorithm to generate secure passwords, Passta is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Use the generated passwords at your own discretion.
